Year 7: Overview

Australian Curriculum Mathematics Training Course for Year 7

This course covers all three strands of the Australian Year 7 curriculum:

Number and Algebra: Working with positive and negative integers, fractions, decimals, and percentages. Using variables to represent numbers and creating algebraic expressions.

Measurement and Geometry: Calculating the area of triangles and parallelograms, and the volume of rectangular prisms. Describing and classifying angles, 2D shapes, and transformations.

Statistics and Probability: Calculating mean, median, mode, and range. Describing and interpreting data, and understanding the probability of events.
