JHS 2: Overview
West African JHS 2 Maths Training Course
This course builds on JHS 1 and covers the core syllabus for JHS 2:
Number and Numeration: Working with rational numbers (positive and negative fractions and decimals) and scientific notation.
Algebra: Solving more complex linear equations and inequalities.
Measurement: Calculating the area of triangles, parallelograms, and trapeziums. Understanding the volume of cubes and cuboids.
Geometry: Properties of angles, parallel lines, and polygons. Understanding geometric constructions.
Statistics: Collecting, organising, and interpreting data using bar charts, pie charts, and pictograms.
