JHS 1: Overview

West African JHS 1 Maths Training Course

This course is mapped to the West African Examination Council curriculum for JHS 1 and focuses on foundational concepts:

Number and Numeration: Understanding sets, whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages.

Basic Operations: Mastering addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with different number types.

Algebra: Introduction to algebraic expressions, variables, and solving simple equations.

Measurement: Working with units for length, mass, time, and money. Calculating perimeter and area of basic shapes (squares, rectangles).

Geometry: Identifying and drawing lines, angles, and basic 2D shapes.
